Meet ANTIQUE- part of SUUBI's OCTOBER 2010 ABOUT FACE collection...

We're not going to lie, this is one of our favorite designs yet! SUUBI beads in hues of green create a Y-shaped necklace adorned with an antiqued East African coin. Used by Great Britain's colonies of what is today Kenya, Tanzania, Somalia, and Uganda, these antiqued copper-nickel coins feature the royal crown on one side and elephant tusks and the date on the other side. This ANTIQUE necklace is a reminder of where East Africa has come from and where she is headed - a fitting reminder of the power of growth, independence, and HOPE!

Approximately 29-30"from one clasp to the other. Length of Y is about a 4" drop. The coin can be unlooped and removed from the necklace if need be.

Each SUUBI® product is 100% unique - hand-crafted by the Suubi women in Uganda and made of recycled paper.
