Yesterday was day two of the seven day race. According to the Corey it was the biggest, longest stage of the race, they call it the Queen Stage. 120 teams started and only 72 finished and of those 72 teams, Corey and his team mate finished 12th! Way to go!

Today should be a bit easier, Next up is stage 3’s Rio de Contas Cross Country, where riders will contest 5 laps of a 7km circuit that starts and finishes on the rough, cobblestone streets of this quaint town’s center square. Stay tuned tomorrow for the latest update.

If you would like to pledge money for the race all donations will be used to purchase some specially designed and locally assembled bicycles from World Bicycle Relief for our employees in Uganda.
