Beauty and peace- it's in Uganda!

When deciding on a vacation spot, Uganda may not be the first place to enter your mind, however, Uganda is making a comeback in Tourism. With over 100,000 vacationers traveling into Uganda per year, the nation is making a name for them self within the industry. Uganda not only has eleven national parks, they also have the unique drawl of being one of only three countries where it is possible to view the Eastern Gorilla and its subspecies.

In the 1950's, Tourism in Uganda began to grow, however it was squelched with the reign of Idi Amin during the early 1970's. Since then, the nation has began to regain grasp of the ability to share their beautiful land with the world.

Whether it be traveling to a main city or going on a safari, Uganda can definitely be put back onto your list of "Places to See In My Lifetime". This country will be sure to have your adventurous side feeling quite satisfied. Canoe out to Ssese Island, do a Chimpanzee Trek, white water raft on the Nile, or take a safari on an elephant's back. The possibilities are endless in Uganda.

Try to see Uganda from a difference perspective.
