This past Friday, we held the first of our two Bike-In Music Series events! If you missed the Bike-In post from the other week, allow us to fill you in. The Bike-In Music Series is an event series in Partnership with World Bicycle Relief. Just recently we began a project to provide bicycles at a subsidized rate to our employees in Uganda. A simple bike provides transportation in an inexpensive and reliable way, allowing the owner to travel to places that may at one time taken hours in transit. Our plan is to raise awareness and raise the funds to allow our employees to buy-in to these inexpensive, yet quality, bikes, thus opening those opportunities for extended daily travel.

Our first event this past Friday was a hit even despite the rain and many lucky people went home with fun give-aways from our local sponsors. Give-ways were not the only perks of the night; the event also included a musical appearance from Tim Brown, a fun photo booth and a campfire to roast marshmallows!
