Light Gives Heat Preview of Summer Look Book & Photo Shoot

In just a month, we are releasing our brand new Summer Look book. In order for that to happen, we needed great new photos, so, this past Saturday we held the first of two photo shoots. We had planned for the location of the shoot to be at a Colorado State Park, Highline Lake, just 30 minutes from our office. The weather forecast was looking great and all the details were coming together brilliantly. We had six models lined up, in fact, all of our models are quality people who are all from around the Grand Junction area. We love to see people just like you and me model our products, so thats how we do it! Though, after watching some these people model, they could probably start a career if they wanted. So, anyway, Friday afternoon came and the forecast changed to rain. We crossed our fingers and went on our separates ways with the plans to meet the next morning.

Well, what do ya know, the next morning came and rain it was! After meeting together at the office, we all discussed what to do, because what's a summer shoot with rain, right?! One thing you have to know about our models is that they have proven themselves to be the most hardcore group of people. Everyone was game to go, saying "We are an organization that stands for hope, so why not live out hope during a photo shoot as well?" and so we loaded up in the van and headed north west towards Utah. We completely wiped our agenda clean and began brainstorming new ideas incorporating the rain.

Once arriving, the rain continued off and on, so with our small collection of umbrellas, rain boots and beach towels we began the shoot. Despite the rain, we had a super fun day full with lots of great shots, goosebumps from wearing summer clothes in the rain, wet bums and tasty BBQ. All this to say is that the clouds can't rain on our parade...or photo shoot!
