For too long Africa has been seen as "The Charity Case." So, We've decided to flip things around. Introducing, again, an innovative partnership between Light Gives Heat (Suubi) and The American Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

For every Pink Edition Suubi Necklace sold, $4.00 will be donated to ABCRF.

Light Gives Heat will be joining Walk 4 Life next Saturday, Oct. 2nd at the Botanical Gardens in Grand Junction, CO. There we will be selling our Suubi Pink Collection including a new piece, the Pink Bracelets.

Walk 4 Life will provide funding for screening mammograms, ultrasounds, and screening of biopsies to be utilized by uninsured individuals under 49 years of age in Mesa County through a partnership with St Mary’s and Community Hospitals. What is Walk 4 Life? Both a fun and a fund-raising event, Walk 4 Life brings people together to promote breast cancer awareness, education, detection, and support.

Proceeds from Walk 4 Life will fund breast cancer awareness and detection as well as mammography screening exams for low income, uninsured individuals in Mesa County. 100% of the proceeds stay in Mesa County for mammogram services. There will be a LIVESTRONG Booth support by LIVESTRONG Grand Junction Volunteers/leaders to pass out information. We will also assist with stuffing bags and on site registration, aid stations, and other assistance as needed.
