October is a busy time- along with it being Breast Cancer awareness month, it is also Fair Trade month. For those of you who do not know, Fair Trade allows farmers and workers to sell and trade their products in the global market, a place where they would not be able to for if it was not for the Fair Trade industry. When you come across a Fair Trade certified label you can be confident the purchased product helps sustain a social and economic living for others all across the world.

Fair Trade works to fight poverty, protect the environment, build sustainable businesses, support education, and empower women. So make your dollars count! This is important part of LGH, as a certified Fair Trade organization, we want to use our products to make a difference! This month is just reminder of how we should be using our money all year around.
