Today’s music Monday features the always brilliant Coldplay. On December 1st they released a single simply entitled “Christmas Lights.” Coldplay has been on the scene for over 12 years, but even so they continue to make inspiring music and their new single is no exception.

“Christmas Lights” is a song that most people can relate to. It’s a tale of all of us who have had loved then lost. It is a song that inspires Hope that, you can recover, move on, or hold on. The Christmas season is always a time for renewed hope and this song helps to create that feeling. The melancholy of the lyrics combined with harmonistic strings and piano, is sure to make this a Holiday classic.
