McKenzie Kimball, one of Light Gives Heat's dedicated volunteers, was named Student of the Week at Fruita Monument High School. McKenzie has been a Spreadster and Volunteer for over three years, selling thousands of dollars worth of Suubi necklaces on behalf of LGH and the women in Jinja, Uganda.

When asked in an interview, "If you could spend next summer anywhere in the world, where would you go?", McKenzie's response was, "I would want to be volunteering or doing an immersion to learn another culture, especially volunteering in Uganda through Light Gives Heat"
