Here at the Magwa house we were celebrating the new year with a spring clean this week. The tailors arrived back to work on Tuesday after their Christmas vacation and immediately a much needed sorting and organising of the workshop begun. Andrea has been working closely with them for the 2012 production designs, everyone is very excited.

A big order was requested from our friends across the Atlantic for necklaces and bags. Gerald, with the help of Kymbi of course, were busy organizing the shipping, have a look at the pictures!

It’s definitely an exciting time over here in Uganda with lots of different projects about to start. Amber and Lauren have been working on the new grant projects which include mushroom growing, livestock breeding and home composting, all of which are to teach the ladies different skills that help them earn an income. The mushroom project is going to start this week so watch this space!
