The four interns. Sweaty.

Where can you find skinny jeans, pre teens, and suubi beads? Well, if you were at Ichthus music festival this past week, you would have seen all of those things! That's right, we have just wrapped up our first music festival summer, and we all agree that it was an absolute blast! It is so cool to watch as people touch and examine the beads to see if they really are made of paper, and then seeing the looks on their faces when they realize how much time and effort has been put into everything.

We have been absolutely blown away by the positive response of the people we have met of ALL ages and sharing the LightGivesHeat story with them is a real privilege. Our joy abounds with every conversation, sale, and Spread sign up.

There have been some cool things that we have seen this week, including one woman that watched the Moving On trailer, and, moved to tears, began telling us how she is also adopting a child from Africa. Others are eager to find out more about the women, and some are simply impressed by the heart of the organization.

When we're not at the booth sharing about LGH, we have had opportunities to go see some musicians and make friends in neighboring booths and campsites. There have even been several bands that have stopped by our booth and been impressed, offering support and encouragement.

The weather has been interesting, too. I don't know if you've ever been to Kentucky in the summer, but with 96% humidity and a heat index of 103, it can get a little...sweaty. That hasn't put a damper on our enthusiasm, though! The women of Suubi and the tailors with Epoh are so worth it!

So after a thorough shower and a good nights rest, we are stoked to tackle our next fest: ALIVE, where we are guaranteed to drop some jaws and blow the minds of 1000's more in Mineral City, Ohio. Come say hi if you're in the vicinity or keep checking for more updates!!
