Eco Fest

Morgan and her eco-shirt...thing

April 24-25, 2010 dated the debut of the Aspen Eco Fest. This festival, unique in it's cause, "is a cultural and educational environmental festival - blending business and environment, free to the public and organized and produced specifically for the western (Colorado) slope audience". Vendors and sponsors varied from handcrafted artwork on thrifted furniture to natural jams and sauces. Amongst the multitude of eco-friendly businesses, Light Gives Heat took part in the action.

While green products were a main highlight, they however shared the spotlight with a few other interactive events. The Green Tie Ball, which highlighted the Eco Fashion Show, was quite the hit as everyone in attendance was asked to wear an eco-outfit. LGH products along with LGH's Dave and Morgan, were part of this Saturday night scene. While
many models wearing Suubi necklaces strut the run way, Dave and Morgan roamed the floor in their eco-friendly outfits. While some women wear Guuci, Morgan took the eco route and wore a custom designed styrofoam bag. In fact, this styrofoam bag originated as the bag their TV arrived packaged in. Both Dave and Morgan, of course, arrived in Suubi necklaces!

With 2 feet of snow arriving on Friday night, which is no surprise to any Colorado resident, Dave and Morgan withstood the weather with long underwear, hats and gloves. They faithfully sold many Suubi necklaces and Epoh Bags.
