"Orphans and street kids in Uganda are the future mothers, fathers, leaders, and role models of African society and our hope is to play our small part in
breaking the poverty and orphan cycle."

Come Let's Dance is a grassroots, non-profit organization that is built around the action to empower African youth to initiate positive change in their communities and in their own personal lives. Located in Kampala, Uganda, Come Let's Dance and Light Gives Heat are neighboring organizations. Not only in Uganda, but also in roots as Come Let's Dance was started by a group of friends from Colorado in 2006.

Come Let's Dance works with many dedicated volunteers who staff relief trips, administrate projects/programs, and raise financial support for the organization. Amongst the many volunteers who travel to Uganda, Margaret Eberly plans to join the crew in a few months.

Margaret is a JMU student who will be spending the month of July in Kampala volunteering in the CLD kid's home of around 80 children. In addition to working with kids, Margaret plans to visit with women and families living in the slums. The goal is to come up with sustainable incomes through small businesses or services. This would enable families to leave the slums and move towards a more stable living situation.

Changing the world does not have an age, it takes one person and a decision to do what is right. If every one person took action, what a different world we would be living in today!
