Barefoot Feelings.

Tom's: One Day without Shoes Challenge.
After One day of walking around barefoot my feet are very dirty.
They have encountered the sidewalk, pavement and office floor and yet they have changed colors.
Crazy to think that each day kids run around and play without anything protecting their little toes from harm.
Don't get me wrong, I'm most assuredly the kind of girl who walks around without shoes on, but not on rocks, thorns and prickly things. Its crazy to me that kids everywhere do this daily, and in worse conditions where their feet get cut up. Not to mention I am sure most of them walk many miles each and every day just to get fresh water and a meal.
I love knowing that all around the world right now there are people going barefoot to make a statement and are catching a glimpse of what having no shoes is like. But what I love even more, is that kids everywhere are going to get shoes, because people heard about this cause and are now going to do something about it.
More and more kids will get something on their feet, and have the biggest beautiful smiles on their faces just because now they can run around and it won't hurt!

I have found another wonderful thing to be thankful for.

Shoes.
