Meet Agatha Nanyire: Production Assistant for EPOH
This stunning 25 year old woman from Jinja, Uganda is featured in the April's Flavour of the Month photos and we wanted to share with you all a bit of her story.

Agatha was born in Eastern Uganda in a the district of Tororo and she is now living in downtown Jinja. She came to Light Gives Heat at first to help with fabric needs for the tailors and has now worked her way up to being our production assistant, helping with trend boards, getting supplies, making sure we have thread, picking out patterns for up and coming and current bags and getting everything set up for the tailors to create the bags. She is currently working to save money up to finish up her schooling at a University where she is getting a Business education.

Agatha is a very modern and fashionable African woman with loads of energy and a positive outlook on life, even in the midst of difficulty. When she was younger and living at home her father was sometimes out of a job, and there were many times the responsibility was put on her to provide for her family in areas of food and medical supplies. Through bouts of depression, a newly developed medical condition for herself and many other things that brought pain and hardship, she relied solely on the knowledge that God is her source of life and that He has a plan for her. Her faith is what little by little brought her into the life of hope that she now willingly shares. The hope she has, the outlook on life that she expresses, and her day to day actions are a perfect example of her desire to live differently.

Agatha brings definition to what having hope and being fashionable is. And she rocks it proudly. We are overwhelmingly amazed at her story and happy to have her on board.
