A message from the Interviewer

Jesse begins interviews

Day One: British Airways was definitely a step up from Brussels Airlines. It was snowing in Chicago, so they defrosted the wings before we took off. Sketchy. One Euro stop and no overnight landing in Kigali (praise God). Bought an awesome book at Heathrow about an ex undercover biker. Got into Entebbe with all my bags. Squeaked through customs paying 1/2 in GB pounds & 1/2 in US (forgot that part!). Nobody to pick me up at airport last night so I took a cab with the last of my cash. When I got to Entebbe Backpackers the guy said "we sent someone to pick you up. I call him back now". Yep, this is Africa. Hoping to see Amberle soon. Not looking forward to the next 3-5 days of severe jetlag. Interviews may be out of focus from time to time.

Day Two: Greetings from the land of red dirt. Day one of interviews went alright. Thanks to Andrea's ingenuity, we scored a generator with just enough oomf to power a 300 watt interview light, the smaller of the two I rented from Jeycob. We actually got enough done to be right on schedule.

Read more updates from Jesse next week, as he spends two weeks interviewing each Suubi and Epoh artisan. Jesse (of Tough Pug Productions) is also currently working on LGH's "Moving On" movie.
